A partner in McDonaldAMC since 2010, Sean brings a wide variety of experience to McDonaldAMC. Along with a strong meeting and event planning background, he has experience in corporate development, trade show management, website and registration design, budget forecasting, onsite staff management, hotel contracts, RFP processes, audio visual services and designing and managing insurance benefit programs for various clients.

Sean serves in an executive role for several clients including serving as the lead for the Combined Claims Conference (CCC), a two-day program that draws 1,200 attendees and includes a full shotgun golf tournament, 100 booth exhibit hall, casino night, paid speakers and more than 30 breakout sessions. During his time as the meeting planner for CCC, the conference has seen an increase in attendees, sponsors, exhibit booths and revenue. He also serves as Executive Director for the Alameda and San Joaquin Dental Societies and manages several of our account managers.

Sean graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Agricultural Business. He is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, past Board Member and past President of Active 20-30 Club #1. He is a member of the California and American Societies of Association Executives.

During college, Sean interned for the Constituent Affairs Office for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the California Toxic Substances Control Division. After graduation from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Sean began his career in sports marketing and sales at Staples Center in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Clippers. Sean then moved to Northern California to work for the Oakland Athletics baseball team for three seasons coordinating their group events, luxury suite sales and season ticket programs.

Sean is working towards his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through the American Society of Association Executives. He is always looking ahead to new trends and technology, while keeping the historical importance of the association in place.
